Initiatives

CMIC has a number of initiatives underway, to deliver on four of its strategic goals, which are to:

• Enhance sustainable research performance and receptor capacity through HQP
• Optimize research efficiency and achieve innovation potential through collaboration
• Create a mining research and innovation culture effectively linking research capability to industry needs
• Enrol new audiences and key decision-makers to support mining research and innovation

Throughout the year, activities in support of these strategies drive much of CMIC's efforts, and support the overall goal of a collaborative mining R&D community in Canada.
