It was established in 1981 for the purpose of assisting members in marketing their goods and services in Canada and around the world.

MACThe Mining Association of Canada (MAC) is the national organization for the Canadian mining industry. MAC's mission is to promote, through the collective action of members, the growth and development of Canada's mining and mineral-processing industry, for the benefit of all Canadians.

PDAC

The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) represents the interests of the mineral exploration and development industry.The association was established in 1932 in response to a proposed government regulation that threatened the livelihood of Ontario prospectors.
